MLK Community Healthcare is hiring a Phlebotomist to collect specimens and assist in specimen processing. You will report to the Phlebotomy Lead and Lab Manager, representing the lab to patients and staff while ensuring accurate testing and quality care.

The role requires phlebotomy experience, LIS proficiency, and a valid BLS certification. The position emphasizes teamwork, flexibility across shifts, and adherence to hospital policy and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in blood specimen collections (3 years preferred).
• Internal candidates with CA Phlebotomy Technician license may be considered.

Responsabilités

• Restock phlebotomy supplies for all three shifts.
• Handle all clerical duties related to the lab.
• Communicate with coworkers, hospital personnel, and physicians.
• Maintain continuous lab coverage for patient care; adapt to schedules.
