Responsibilities

• Administrative duties: customer service, answering phones, monitoring alarms.
• Technical: perform venipuncture, collect specimens, prepare samples for testing.
• Data: verify specimen information, data entry, proper patient identification.
• Specimen handling: receive, process, and package for referral labs; maintain integrity.
• Compliance: follow safety, HIPAA, Medicare rules; participate in QA.
• Flexibility: cover shifts at different sites as needed.
• Reliability: maintain punctual attendance for operations.
