Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of on-the-job phlebotomy experience.
• Excellent communication skills with patients and team members.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, answer phones, monitor instrumentation alarms.
• Perform venipuncture for blood collection and obtain additional specimens as needed.
• Prepare samples for lab testing and screening with proper labeling.
• Verify specimen information and perform data entry with accuracy.
• Receive, process, and package samples for referral labs while maintaining integrity.
• Follow safety, HIPAA, Medicare rules, and participate in QA; cover shifts across sites as needed.
