Interpath Laboratory, Inc. is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist/Processor to join our Oregon team. The role involves venipuncture, specimen handling, data entry, and patient interaction in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

You will contribute to timely lab testing, maintain specimen integrity, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and safety guidelines while supporting multiple sites as needed. A High school diploma and phlebotomy training or hands-on experience are required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months phlebotomy experience OR completion of a phlebotomy program with classroom instruction and hands-on training.
• Strong communication skills for professional patient and teammate interactions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities; capable of handling multiple tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Provide excellent customer service, answer phones, monitor instrumentation alarms.
• Perform venipuncture for blood collection and obtain additional specimen types as required.
• Prepare samples for lab testing and screening.
• Verify specimen information, data entry, and proper patient identification.
• Receive, process, and package samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity.
• Follow safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participate in QA.
• Cover shifts at different sites as needed to ensure smooth operations.
