Job summary

Wilson Health is seeking a direct-hire Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist for its Sidney, Ohio area location. The role supports Laboratory Services, performing specimen collection and processing alongside essential duties to ensure accurate testing and patient care.

Second shift hours run from 1 PM to 9:30 PM; weekend and holiday rotation may apply. The position includes comprehensive benefits, tuition assistance, PTO from day one, and access to an on-site gym.

Qualifications

• Formal phlebotomy training with certification.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies during off-hours.

Responsibilities

• Collects venous and capillary blood specimens.
• Interacts with patients across age groups for specimen collection.
• Maintains workflow and communicates with the reference laboratory.
• Keeps phlebotomy work areas clean and organized.
• Handles reports and data entry in the Laboratory Information System.
