Qualifications

• 0-2 years phlebotomy experience required.

• Ability to perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection across age groups.
• Strong communication skills with patients, staff, and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Performs venipuncture and capillary blood collection.
• Ensures positive patient identification and proper labeling.
• Prepares, packages, and transports specimens to the laboratory.
• Explains procedures to patients and addresses concerns.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of phlebotomy equipment and workspace.
• Documents patient and specimen information accurately in the system.
• Collects timed specimens as ordered and maintains specimen integrity.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to resolve collection issues.
