Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Lab Phlebotomist/Clerk to perform daily phlebotomy activities, collect specimens, and manage patient information with accuracy. You will input orders, ensure proper labeling, and provide courteous service to patients in person and by phone.

The role requires basic computer skills, English fluency, and previous phlebotomy experience or certification. Compliance with safety rules and infection control is essential in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with EHR systems are required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a clinical rotation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens accurately and on time following procedures.
• Record data, verify orders, label samples, and enter information into systems.
• Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.
• Maintain clean work areas and stock supplies as needed.
