Bon Secours Harbour View Medical Center is seeking a Phlebotomist to join the Laboratory Department. You will draw blood samples, prepare specimens for testing, and perform clerical duties to keep the lab running smoothly.

The role requires excellent customer service, accuracy in labeling and data entry, and willingness to travel to off-site locations. The minimum education is a high school diploma, and certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience preferred but not required.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Ability to travel to off-site locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide courteous customer service.
• Collect specimens according to procedures and ensure proper processing.
• Identify patients accurately and match identity with service for safety.
• Label, centrifuge, split and freeze specimens as ordered.
• Handle clerical duties such as inventory, stocking, and answering phones.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly.
