SHIFT: Full-Time, Days

HOURS: Open hours are Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, with Saturday hours from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Team members will work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays. Exact hours are to be determined.

Position Summary: The Phlebotomist provides general laboratory services, including specimen collection via routine venipuncture, order entry, blood component preparation, pre-analytic processing of specimens, and related clerical tasks such as entering orders, answering phones, and managing faxes. Responsibilities may also include patient and specimen registration and specimen delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and demonstrate high compassion.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Completion of a phlebotomy training program; laboratory experience or coursework in biological, chemical, or related sciences preferred.
• May require a valid Indiana driver's license and a clean driving record over the past three years.
• Understanding of Indiana traffic laws preferred.
• Proven computer skills.
• Excellent telephone communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Potential involvement in departmental committees or projects as assigned.
