Qualifications

• Minimum: high school diploma required.
• Phlebotomy program completion or certifying agency preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and current liability insurance.
• Prior lab experience in hospital or physician office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain blood specimens from patients using venipuncture or micro-puncture techniques.
• Plate specimens for microbiology and prepare for analysis.
• Process specimens and input results into the LIS.
• Assist with waived testing as outlined by CLIA.
