Job summary

Trinity Health MI in Grand Rapids is seeking a phlebotomy specialist to lead and participate in a small team delivering both inpatient and outpatient phlebotomy services. You will ensure adherence to standards, train new staff, and help optimize workflows in a busy laboratory.

The role requires a high school diploma, phlebotomy training, and ASCP certification (or equivalent) within 3 months of hire. Minimum six months of phlebotomy experience; MHSM experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required.
• Preferred phlebotomy training or completion of a phlebotomy program.
• ASCP certification for Phlebotomy or equivalent; must obtain within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Related Experience

• Minimum Six months of phlebotomy experience.
• Preferred One year of phlebotomy experience at MHSM.

Other Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Minimum Strong interpersonal and clerical skills. Strong customer service skills.

Computer Competency

Familiarity with standard desktop and windows based computer system, including email, e-learning, intranet and computer navigation. Ability to use other software required to perform essential functions.
