Job summary

Trinity Health in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a Phlebotomist to join a small team delivering phlebotomy services for inpatients and outpatients. You will ensure compliance with standards and policies while training new staff and contributing to process improvement.

Education

• Minimum High school diploma
• Preferred Phlebotomy Training or Phlebotomy Technical School

Credentials/Licensure

• Minimum ASCP certification for Phlebotomy (or other accrediting agency) or certification must obtain within 3 months of hire date

Related Experience

• Minimum Six months of phlebotomy experience.
• Preferred One year of phlebotomy experience at MHSM.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Minimum Strong interpersonal and clerical skills. Strong customer service skills.

Computer Competency

Familiarity with standard desktop and windows based computer system, including email, e-learning, intranet and computer navigation. Ability to use other software required to perform essential functions.
