Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a Medical Clinic in Westminster, CO. 80021. The position features a daytime schedule, Monday through Friday, with potential for overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen collection for various tests, data entry, billing, and travel to additional sites. A high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or training are preferred, with 9+ months of phlebotomy experience valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program preferred.
• 9+ months of experience as a Phlebotomist preferred.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
