Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team for coverage at Medical Clinics in and around the Denver Metro area including Westminster, CO. 80021.

You will perform blood collections, collect specimens for various tests, and provide excellent patient service while maintaining accurate records. A high school diploma and phlebotomy certification are preferred, with at least 9 months of experience.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 9 months or more experience as a Phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our Team for coverage at Medical Clinics in and around the Denver Metro area including Westminster, CO. 80021.

Work Schedule

Hours are Monday - Friday, and vary from 7:00am - 7:00pm, additional hours/days may be requested in this role. Travel to additional sites when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
• 9 months or more experience as a Phlebotomist

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Coverage for Denver Metro & surrounding areas such as Arvada, Thornton, Louisville, Lakewood, Westminster, Longmont
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to work in fast paced / high volume work environments
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Pay Range

Pay Range: $21.73 - $28.49 per hour

Float Incentive

Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement

Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.

Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
