Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist III for Austin, TX, Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with rotational weekend coverage. Travel within an assigned territory to deliver professional phlebotomy services across Patient Service Centers and Client Offices.

You will collect specimens, ensure patient safety, and maintain compliance with testing protocols. Ideal candidates have at least three years of phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma, and state-specific phlebotomy certification where

Qualifications

• Three years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA, and LA.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary draws following established procedures.
• Ensure accurate patient identification and labeling; enter data for orders and billing.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing.
• Travel within the territory to cover PSCs and IOPs and provide timely service.
