Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Johnson City, TN is seeking a Phlebotomist III to cover a territory with weekday schedule. This role requires travel across Patient Service Centers and Client Offices within the territory to collect specimens and ensure accurate labeling and documentation.

You will work independently to deliver high-quality phlebotomy services, handle complex collections, and maintain compliance with testing protocols while delivering excellent patient experiences.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification is required in CA, NV, WA and LA.
• Three years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Travel up to 75% is expected.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections following established procedures, including difficult draws as needed.
• Obtain patient identification and sign off on specimen labeling; perform data entry as required.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing, including labeling, centrifuging, and storage.
• Communicate collection procedures clearly and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Travel across PSC and IOP locations within the territory and mentor on-site staff as needed.
