Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collect high-quality blood specimens through venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric collections.
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures.
• Verify patient identification, demographics, and specimen labeling accuracy.
• Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties.
• Maintain accurate records and required documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service while creating a professional and trusting patient experience.
• Travel between multiple Patient Service Centers and physician office locations as needed.
• Follow all safety, quality, confidentiality, and compliance requirements.
• Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.

What We’re Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Minimum of 2 years of Patient Service Center experience preferred
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Strong customer service and patient communication skills
• Keyboard and data entry experience
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record if applicable
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call assignments, overtime, and support multiple locations with minimal notice
• Ability to meet compliance requirements including immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and TB Test required; COVID and Flu recommended)
• Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
