ICONMA is assisting a Medical Research company in recruiting a Phlebotomist III – Floater for the Coon Rapids, MN location. The role involves collecting blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and maintaining accurate records while communicating clearly with patients.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or equivalent, with phlebotomy certification preferred. 3–5 years of phlebotomy experience and PSC/IOP environment familiarity are desired; data entry skills are also

• Phlebotomy certification is preferred.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred.
• 3–5 years of phlebotomy experience is needed.
• Minimum 3 years in a PSC/IOP environment is preferred.
• Customer service experience in retail or service is preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is a must.
• State of Credentials Licenses Required: Graduated Phlebotomist certification.

Our Client, a Medical Research company, is looking for a Phlebotomist III – Floater for their Coon Rapids, MN location.

Responsibilities

• The Phlebotomist III represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions.
• The Phlebotomist III draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
• The Phlebotomist III has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.
• The Phlebotomist III will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time. Maintain a safe and professional environment. Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures. Maintains required records and documentation. Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.

Requirements
