Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in South Bend, IN, is seeking a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens and support patient services. The role operates Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a pay range starting at $20.00 per hour and potential annual bonus opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have three years phlebotomy experience, strong data entry skills, and the ability to navigate laboratory information systems. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify test/client orders by using lab technology systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and statistics submissions as required.
• Complete online and in-person training courses timely.
