Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II for multiple Patient Service Center locations in Ahoskie, NC. This onsite contract role requires 5 months of work with travel across sites and flexible hours to cover patient service centers and in-office phlebotomy locations.

The position emphasizes high-quality blood collection, patient safety, documentation accuracy, and strong customer service. Candidates should have phlebotomy experience and relevant certification; California, Nevada, and Washington

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent — Required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training — Preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification — Preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Perform verification of patient demographic info / initials including patient signature post-venipuncture to verify tubes were labeled in their presence and that the name on the label is correct.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.
