Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Towson, MD is seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our team. The role involves specimen collection, processing, and ensuring accurate labeling and entry of data in a busy clinical lab environment.

Schedule: Mon & Fri 9:00–5:00 and Tue–Thu 10:30–7:00 with rotating weekends. Pay range: $23.20–$24.90 per hour. Compensation may include annual performance bonuses based on skills, training, and experience.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Flexible and available weekends/holidays/overtime.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and Client contact; enter data accurately.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs; assist with statistics and data.
