Requires a state phlebotomy license (CA, WA, NV licensing notes) and at least three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Qualifications

• 3 years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Keyboard/data-entry experience
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays/on-call/overtime

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, etc).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Review test/client information and verify orders using lab systems.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain ID, enter billing info and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Read and follow departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submission.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and training completions.
