Powers Health Rehab Center in Crown Point, IN is seeking a Phlebotomist II for full-time, evening/day shifts with majority 11:30-8:00 and weekend rotation. The role acts as a liaison between the hospital laboratory and patients, performing blood draws, urine and other specimen collection under supervision, with responsibilities including specimen handling and LIS data entry.

You will cover workstations as needed, support clerical tasks, and work under the Laboratory Supervisor and Site

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Successful completion of an accredited phlebotomy program or EMT Basic with current license, or licensed paramedic.
• Registered or eligible with national/phlebotomy certifying bodies; certification within 1 year.

Responsabilidades

• Collect blood specimens, urine, and other samples from inpatients and outpatients.
• Handle and deliver specimens to the main laboratory for analysis.
• Enter test orders and specimen information in LIS; perform incidental clerical tasks.
• Support additional workstations as needed and assist with cleaning and supply duties.
