Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Auburn, MA is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM, with rotational weekends. This role offers a pay range of $24.50–$26.25 per hour and opportunities for bonus based on performance.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, and adherence to procedures. The ideal candidate has at least three years of phlebotomy experience, strong data entry skills, and flexibility to meet staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and tools.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient-facing duties including inventory and phone/email communication.
• Read, understand and comply with policies, protocols and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance records.
• Complete trainings timely.
