Job summary

Global Technical Talent, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a 4-month contract in Suwanee, GA.

This on-site role requires delivering quality blood sample collection across patient service centers and in-office locations, with flexible hours to cover multiple sites. The successful candidate will have a High school diploma, phlebotomy training/certification if applicable, and 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Perform verification of patient demographic info / initials including patient signature post-venipuncture to verify tubes were labeled in their presence and that the name on the label is correct.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.
