Qualifications

• 2-4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience.
• Experience drawing blood across all age groups including newborns.
• Experience with patient registration.
• Experience maintaining accurate patient/specimen logs.
• Comfortable handling a high volume of blood draws.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws from patients ranging from newborn to geriatric.
• Register patients accurately using the appropriate system.
• Process collected specimens according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient manifests and specimen logs.
• Handle approximately 25-35 blood draws per day.
• Provide patient-centered service and maintain a professional and courteous approach.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, volume-based environment.
