Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience.
• Experience with patient registration and specimen processing.
• Ability to draw blood from pediatric to geriatric patients.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must pass background check.
• Must be comfortable working onsite and following safety and compliance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens from pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Complete patient registration and enter patient information into the appropriate system.
• Process, label, and handle specimens according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records, specimen logs, and manifests.
• Ensure specimen identification, documentation, and handling accuracy.
• Follow company policies, standard operating procedures, and applicable compliance requirements.
• Provide professional and courteous service to patients of different ages and backgrounds.
• Manage daily responsibilities independently while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
• Complete approximately 50-60 blood draws per day.
