Job summary

Global Technical Talent, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a 2-month contract in Alpena, MI. The role is on-site with a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, requiring travel to multiple locations and quick notice coverage.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of phlebotomy experience, pediatric and geriatric collection skills, and a high school diploma. Medical training or phlebotomy certification is preferred. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic). Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA/NV/WA.
• Three years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Enjoy flexible schedules and able to travel to multiple locations with short notice.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under supervision.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Collect and process blood specimens following established procedures.
• Verify patient demographics and labels post-venipuncture.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Represent the company professionally to patients and clients.
