Pride Health is seeking a Phlebotomist for a client medical facility in Alpena, MI 49707. This is a 3-month contract with potential extension or conversion. The shift is Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm.

Pay rate is $23–$25 per hour on W-2, based on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities include phlebotomy duties, specimen processing, patient interaction, and ensuring proper labeling and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).
• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Performs forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established procedures.
• Verify patient demographics and initials post-venipuncture to ensure accurate labeling.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and provide positive patient interactions.

Education
