Job summary

Global Technical Talent, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist II for the Silver Spring, MD area. This contract role runs 3 months, with a schedule of Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–1:00 PM and rotating Saturdays.

Onsite work with travel across locations is required to cover centers and in-office phlebotomy sites. The role demands phlebotomy expertise across pediatric and geriatric patients, strict adherence to procedures, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.
• Phlebotomy certified (state credential per position).
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under supervision.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties.
• Verify patient demographics and labeling post-venipuncture.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Promote a positive image to patients and staff.
