Quest Diagnostics in Morrisville, NC, is seeking a Phlebotomist II to support early-morning collections from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM. The role focuses on collecting specimens, entering data accurately, and following established procedures in a fast-paced lab environment.

Applicants should have phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to communicate in English. This on-site position offers competitive hourly pay and eligibility for annual incentive compensation

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required, following policies.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones and email.
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with data compilation and statistics submission.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and training records.
• Complete online and in-person training timely.
