Quest Diagnostics invites applications for a Phlebotomist II based in Marlborough, MA, with hours Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM and Friday 6:00 AM–10:00 AM, plus rotational weekends. The role includes specimen collection, data entry, and patient services in a fast-paced clinical lab environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of phlebotomy experience, strong data entry skills, and flexibility to cover weekends and overtime.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard and data-entry proficiency.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and confirm/verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, answering phones and emails.
• Read, understand and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with compiling and submitting statistics and data as required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and keep timely records.
