Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Somerset, NJ, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with rotational weekends. The role requires three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections, plus data entry ability.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsabilités

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact; enter data accurately.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data precisely.
• Obtain identification and billing information; collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient duties (inventory, stocks, sanitation, filing, phones, emails).
• Maintain department policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Assist with statistics/data submission when required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and training records.
