Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is hiring a Phlebotomist II for Taylor, TX, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role involves collecting specimens, performing patient pre/post-collection tasks, and maintaining accurate records while delivering quality service.

The position requires three years of phlebotomy experience, proficiency with data entry, and flexibility to cover weekends or overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, incl. pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, weekends/holidays/on-call/overtime.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Follow departmental policies and maintain logs.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete trainings timely.
