Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Davenport, IA. The role runs Monday through Friday, with rotational weekends, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The pay range starts at $20.00 per hour, with potential for annual bonus compensation based on performance and company factors.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, test order verification, data entry, and handling non-patient tasks. Required are three years of phlebotomy experience and a HS diploma; phlebotomy

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
• Position requires effective English communication.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens per established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client communication.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required, following policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, sanitation, filing, phones, email.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and submission of statistics as required.
• Complete online and in-person training timely.
