Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab technology and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Follow departmental policies and maintenance of logs and stats.
