Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexibility with staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders and enter data into lab systems accurately.
• Navigate computer systems and maintain logs and billing information.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, preparing for transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, housekeeping, phones, email).
