Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Collinsville, IL is seeking a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with rotational weekends. You will label, process, and transport specimens, and enter data accurately into lab systems.

The ideal candidate has three years of phlebotomy experience and a HS diploma; medical training or certification is preferred and may be required in some states. Health benefits and career growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
