Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II for Smithville, TN. The role conducts specimen collection including drug screens and biometric screenings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures.

The ideal candidate has three years phlebotomy experience, HS diploma, and flexibility to work Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri. The position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits, with opportunities for career growth.

Competenze

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Mansioni

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and confirm and verify all written and electronic orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory, sanitizing, filing, answering phones and emailing.
