Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Dyersburg, TN, seeks a Phlebotomist II to join our team. Schedule is Tuesday to Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and Friday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM. The pay range starts at $20.00 per hour with potential for annual bonus depending on performance.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens, verifying orders, data entry, and handling billing information as required. Requires phlebotomy experience and ability to work with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license, with clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Follow departmental policies and maintain logs and records.
• Assist with statistics and data submission.
