Quest Diagnostics in Saint Marys, GA is seeking a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens and perform related duties. The schedule is Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with rotational weekends. The pay range starts at $21.50 per hour, with potential annual bonus based on performance and other factors.

The role requires at least three years of phlebotomy experience, strong data-entry skills, and reliable transportation. Training and benefits are provided as part of a comprehensive program.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab technology systems and client contact.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stock supplies, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training courses timely.
