Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist II for Jekyll Island, GA. Work schedule is Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with rotational weekends. Pay starts at $21.50+ per hour.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, and adherence to departmental policies. Requires 3 years of phlebotomy experience and English communication ability. Medical training or certification preferred; benefits and bonuses apply.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Enter data accurately in computer systems.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information as required.
