Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
• Phlebotomy certification may be preferred depending on location.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric services.
• Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data for orders and billing.
• Label, centrifuge, aliquot, freeze and prepare specimens for transport as required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and comply with policies and training courses.
