Job summary

ICONMA, on behalf of a Clinical Laboratory client in Vancouver, WA, is seeking a Phlebotomist II. The role focuses on blood collection, specimen labeling, and processing per established procedures.

You will perform venipuncture, package specimens for transport, and maintain accurate patient data and test orders while complying with OSHA and DEP regulations. The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital and is proficient with Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in a lab or hospital.
• Experience drawing blood, labeling specimens and centrifuging.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in venipuncture, specimen collection, labeling and processing.
• Handle specimen transport, labeling, centrifuging and storage per protocol.
• Explain procedures courteously and ensure specimen integrity.
• Ensure OSHA/DEP regulations compliance.
• Maintain accurate patient information and test requisitions.
• Pedi and geri venipuncture skills.
