ICONMA is seeking a Phlebotomist I for our client’s Largo, FL location. The role involves blood draws, specimen labeling, and entry of patient information in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with blood draws and specimen labeling.
• Record maintenance data and decontamination procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Match requisition forms to specimen tubes and properly label and centrifuge specimens.
• Package specimens for transport and store at required temperatures.
• Comply with OSHA and DEP regulations and communicate lab results as needed.
