ICONMA is seeking a Phlebotomist II for our client in Port Charlotte, FL. The role involves drawing blood, labeling specimens, processing samples, and coordinating with the lab team to ensure accurate test results.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced setting, proficiency with MS Office, and a High School Diploma or GED. This on-site position offers health benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–4 years of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

• Assist in performing duties, troubleshoot, train and recommend workflow improvements.
• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge, and maintain data records.
• Collect and store specimens per procedures and explain venipuncture processes to patients.
• Demonstrate phlebotomy techniques using straight or butterfly needles.
• Ensure specimens match orders, label, centrifuge, split and freeze as required.
• Store specimens at required temperatures and package for transport.
• Comply with OSHA/DEP regulations.
• Answer calls and relay laboratory results when requested.
• Draw blood across age groups and register patients as needed.
• Maintain patient manifests and stay compliant with company procedures.
• Work as part of a team.
