Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures including drug screens and biometric testing.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders and enter data using lab systems and client communications.
• Navigate computer systems and collect billing information as required.
• Process specimens, label, centrifuge, aliquot and prepare for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory, sanitizing, and filing.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete required training.
