The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of phlebotomy experience, and strong attention to detail. ASCP PBT is preferred. Evening shift with weekend/holiday rotation applies and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent (Required)
• Minimum 2 Years of Experience in phlebotomy (Required)
• ASCP PBT or equivalent (Preferred but not required)
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
• Strong attention to detail and data integrity

Responsibilities

• Collects blood samples using venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Verifies patient information and maintains the integrity of the sample by following labeling protocols.
• Records information in logs and patient records, ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Processes specimens for testing and ensures cleanliness and sterilization of equipment and work area.
• Explains blood draw procedures to patients and uses age-appropriate communication for pediatric collections when needed.
• Provides care and clear instructions to patients post-procedure.
