Qualifications

• Proficient phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients of all ages.
• Accurately label and process specimens per laboratory protocol.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of phlebotomy carts and work areas.
• Data entry and specimen processing according to test orders.
• Rotate through inpatient, outpatient, ED settings as scheduled.
• Assist with training new staff or students as needed.
