Endeavor Health is seeking a Phlebotomist II for Northwest Community Hospital in a full-time capacity. Shifts include 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and 11:30 AM–8:00 PM with start times varying and rotating weekends/holidays. This role emphasizes accurate venipuncture, specimen collection, and customer-focused service.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR-BLS certification, and a minimum of one year of phlebotomy experience; phlebotomy certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred but not required.
• CPR-BLS certification for Healthcare Provider (AHA) required
• One year of phlebotomy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary specimen collection for inpatients and outpatients across ages.
• Collect body fluids or other samples including nasal/throat swabs and breath samples.
• Operate HIS and LIS systems to address lab service needs.
• Prepare and assist in processing blood and body fluids per guidelines.
• Assist in orientation and training of phlebotomy staff and students.
• Identify and address problems and notify supervisors as needed.
• Assist with inventory management and ensure timely customer service.
